Public Institution Tautinių Bendrijų Namai is a non-profit organisation established in accordance with the Law on Public Institutions of the Republic of Lithuania on 20 July 2000. It operates in the fields of culture and education and provides services to members of the public in order to help preserve the cultural and ethnic identity of Lithuania's national minorities as they integrate into the country's social life. Founder: the Department of National Minorities under the Government of the Republic of Lithuania.
Public Institution Tautinių Bendrijų Namai is a founding member and active participant of the National Forum for Equality and Diversity, and communicates with other cultural centres, educational institutions, communities, foreign partners, art and science institutions, and public organisations, and participates in various projects.

VISION AND MISSION
Public Institution Tautinių Bendrijų Namai is a modern and multifunctional cultural institution carrying out professional work, satisfying the cultural needs of the population of different nationalities, belonging to all social strata, and creatively participating in the social and cultural life of Lithuania's national minorities.

Public Institution Tautinių Bendrijų Namai promotes inter-ethnic dialogue between cultures in a multi-ethnic Lithuanian society. It introduces our citizens to the traditions and customs of different nations, promotes tolerance and trust among fellow citizens, and develops cultural education. It develops and strengthens the capacities and competences of leaders and members of national minority NGOs through a wide range of practical and methodological support. It develops and fosters cooperation between Lithuanian and foreign non-governmental organisations of national minorities. Introduces our country's multi-ethnic cultural fabric abroad.
